      Following the tradition kitsch naturalia objects as beautifully presented by Celeste Olalquiaga's The Artificial Kingdom, BOUT is a small series of unstable paperweights stones made after oldowan prehistorical tool (older Paleolithic) models. Each piece is unique and handmade by a marble artisan.

      Having oldowan tools as a reference, the pink marble pieces are cutted and broken from a bigger stone in the region of Estremoz, Alentejo, in Portugal. Then the shape is slowly rounded and the surface partially polished while the base is left rought and irregular.
